1. Data Controller

Personal data processed through RD Event is controlled by RD EVENT (R&D EVENT), SARLAU (Moroccan company), share capital 100,000 MAD, located at 96 BD ANFA ETAGE N1 APPARTEMENT N11 RESIDENCE LE PRINTEMPS D ANFA, Casablanca, Morocco.

2. Scope

This policy applies to RD Event and related processing, including account management, invitation and QR-based access, participant/team/quiz imports, badge generation and sending, event activities, moderation, notifications, geolocation, and admin exports (PDF/image reports).

3. Categories of Data

• Account and authentication data (name, email, user IDs, roles, login metadata)
• Event and imported data (participants, teams, quiz content, configurations)
• Profile and content data (photos, posts, comments, moderation reports)
• Badge/QR/export metadata
• Location data (when permission is granted)
• Technical and usage logs
• Communication data (notification preferences and tokens)
• Participation and results data (scores, rankings, team-building progress)

4. Purposes

1. Provide and secure account access
2. Enable event workflows, including QR sign-in where enabled
3. Import, organize, and maintain event data
4. Generate and deliver badges, documents, summaries, and reports
5. Provide social, location, and communication features
6. Prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access
7. Run moderation and support operations
8. Comply with legal obligations

5. Legal Bases

Depending on processing purpose, legal bases include contract performance, consent, legitimate interests, and legal obligations.

6. Data Recipients

Data may be accessed by authorized RD EVENT teams, authorized organizers/admins, technical processors, and competent authorities where required by law.

Service providers may include Firebase services, mapping/geocoding providers, and email delivery providers.

7. International Transfers

Some providers may process data outside the EEA. Where applicable, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are implemented.

8. Retention

• Account data: account lifetime + up to 12 months after deletion
• Event/imported data: event lifecycle and operational follow-up, then archived/deleted by policy
• Technical/security logs: generally up to 12 months unless law requires otherwise

9. Security

We implement access controls, encryption in transit, logging, and integrity protections appropriate to risk.

10. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, and withdrawal of consent where applicable.
